I'm surprised the numbers are not worse than that. These are trying times in this industry and most are suffering badly. Between the Real Estate bust in most areas and the holiday shopping season now upon us, these numbers look good to me.

Notice the volume leaders are behind this month? A4 and Q7 both down over last year. Not exactly unexpected, but interesting to note. Everything else it up pretty good over last year.

Audi needs a big final push for December to make the numbers for this month, quarter, and year. Look for regional programs in the last two weeks of the month to improve.

Well The Q7 launched last year at this time, so you are running against the initial pre-orders.

As for the A4, I can't think of a reason why they might be down other lease deal differences.

The reason A4 sales might be down is that an all-new A4 will be debuting in the U.S.A. next fall. The new A4 has gotten glowing reviews from all quarters. People might be deciding to wait for the new car.

Come on....is that all you have to say? At least the Lexus boys are down even more, the Bimmer boys must all be over there at those posts having a ball!

Puhhhleeeease....Aud is growing by 9% annually in the U.S. and 9% anually worldwide.

If anything, Audi is rocketing in terms of sales.

Notice how the only one that's REALLY down is the A4... not surprising. The new A4 will be out in less than a year (although it should be out sooner, but you know how Audi is)!

I'm glad to see that, finally, the A3/A6/A8/TT are all up.

BTW, why is it that, if a company posts an increase of 1%, it's considered "flat," but a decrease of the same number is a "dip?" Why is it that, with Chrysler down 2%, it's "only" 2%? Where's the "only" in this title?

That's what happens when you milk a design for years. The A4 should have been redesigned years ago. Not to mention the fact that Audi has crappy lease rates and weak underperfoming engines for their non-
"S" or "rs" vehicles.
