001 shows the 2008 Lexus GS460 on his Fox television segment
001 gives you a look at the 2008 Lexus GS460 of his regular Fox television segment.
And it proves it really does rain in Southern California!

Wow, I like this Lexus :)

How dare you say "the M35 is non-existent competition"? Last time I heard the M outperforms the entire class especially the very weak GS.

lexusking ... what are you talking about?
"The Lexus GS is the benchmark in the mid-size luxury sport sedan segment. The E and 5 having nothing on it and the M35 is non-existent competition"
according to whom? I believe the BMW 5-series is the benchmark. The BMW outsells the GS models by alot.

I wanted to comment on LexusKing600's comments, but I figured that it would just be playing into his need for attention.

Is the GS460 really worth a television segment? How about the LS600hL?

What are you talking about? I'm not bashing the GS. It's only simply an update of the current model--and one that is the subtlest of subtle, at that. Nobody would notice it, not even me. That doesn't deserve a TV special.
Enough bashing, please. Is that your defense? When I apparently say something "negative" about Lexus, you both have to say something negative about my car? Wow, creative. And quite mature, at that.
In MY defense... I would say this if it were about the 2008 5 Series (same as last year but with new engines), 2007 E-Class (ditto), etc. Those are all updates, not completely new models.

Wow, people really must LOVE the GS460. -8 boost? Really?
Like I mentioned... the only reason I said that is because the GS460 is not a completely new car, while there are other new Lexuses that might be better-suited to a television segment. Or even just new cars in general--Cadilllac CTS?
It was fairly convincing, though. Your use of strong words is entertaining.

Not like the flash floods here in WASHINGTON AND OREGON!!! --> my dad had a construction project going on and the crew he hired wasn't competent unfortunately, so he had to call his frickin' insurance now cause the building is flooded and is going to be closed for a week

"Swoopy and slick"?
"...like it came from Ferrari or Maserati."
I don't know if I would go THAT far.

no offense 001...but you need a razor. ;)
don't stop on the face either, take it over the scalp...the clean cut will do wonders!
btw, i agree with you on the GS...
i don't know about the italian upscale styling myself, but the GS is definitely the best looking in the class. also, it definitely out classes the Infiniti M, as stated above.
i reveiewed the GS/E/5/M before making my purchase and i was jsut amazed at how well the GS was. i knew it would be a great vehicle...but didnt expect it to be so good. my choices came down to the 5 and the GS and after a second review...the 5 just didnt stack up to my standards in the end.
interior wise, the GS is by far the class leading. it offers beautiful black leather and wood, and not to mention the abundance of features.
the exterior design is very very attractive when standing next to its counterparts. it's a truly jaw-dropping design and perosnally in the Matador Red i chose, it makes a definite statement amongst the rest.
driving wise, i could never complain. the car moves effortless and handles far greater than expected for my particular driving with this car. the 5 offered a more harsh ride due to its sports oriented theme (not bad thing, jsut not my preference).
one thing that i have been amazed with is the mpg i have been getting with the vehicle. i don't drive it as much, due to the fact i have a 35+ mpg daily, but the GS has been giving me about 25-26 mpg on average and on a weekend trip i got 32 mpg cruising around 80-85 mph. i could not ask for more from this vehicle.
