Audi’s 2008 internal product launch document leaked
A source has sent out an ‘alleged’ internal Audi document that lists all new products that are to be launched in Germany for 2008.

Of course, models that jump out of the document at us are first the Audi TT-S which is supposedly rated in at 269 horsepower, the Audi Q5 which will supposedly produce up to 207 horsepower and the Audi Q7 6.0 TDI which will produce a whopping 493 horsepower.

TT-S should at least hit 300hp

More than 270hp for the TT-S, please! Or you may as well get rid of the 3.2, because there's no point to them being within 19hp of each other.

Otherwise, it's all expected, and very good.

Perhaps the S will be lightened?

It's the same with the A3 3.2 and S3. A3 has 250hp, S3 265.
Yet the S3 does 0-60 in 5.7 seconds and hangs with Evo's and STI's on the track, whereas the A3 3.2 does 0-60 in 6.2 seconds and is allot softer sprung.

Plus the fact that the S3 is 100kg lighter then the A3 3.2. Given the fact that the kerb weight of the TT 3.2 is only 1410kg and it already does 0-60 in 5.9, with 270hp and about 50kg lighter a 0-60 of 5.3 should be possible.

Yes, Heyhuub, I had already known that about the A3/S3 but I thought Audi wouldn't do the same thing with the TT. Whatever.

As long as it has significantly better performance, I'm happy.

265 HP A4? Why does Audi always have to bring up the rear when it comes to HP for non "S" or "RS" vehicles?

I'm not talking about the "S" or "RS" cars. I'm talking about the NON "S" or "RS" cars. "Non" being the operative word.

Because a new 3.0TT V6 is in production. I hate the 3.2, also, but it will be replaced within the next two years. The S4 will get it first, but the A4 will (hopefully) get a de-tuned version.
