BMW's Deep Blue back on the board?

Auto Express is showing this photo and there is speculation that this is the BMW 'Deep Blue' concept we spoke about a few weeks ago.

The speculation is bubbling up probably because this photo is showing 'suicide doors'

2 Things:
One, I can almost certainly say if BMW does make this car, it will NOT look like this. This looks more like the style on the upcoming Merc concepts, with lines like "flame surfacing" except running in all directions (some following the car length, others steeply reaching to the bottom; at least BMW keeps all flame lines running front to back and giving a unified look). And the rear lights are very Audi A3.
Two, why would BMW define a class or Series for a sports wagon, when the 3 and 5 Series do nicely already? Plus, they already have the 1 Series to fight VW golf, Audi A3, and Merc A and/or B Class.
