Early Look: Land Rover's new Coupe-Crossover
This is the second official image of the upcoming Land Rover Coupe-Crossover due to make an appearance in concept form at next month’s Detroit Auto Show. Land Rover surprised many when it presented the first official teaser during a presentation back at September’s Frankfurt Motor Show.

This latest image is actually the concept version, which was leaked prematurely onto several major forums. The image confirms the vehicle will have just two doors and also reveals a panoramic sunroof and lush interior.

So...it's basically an LR2 "sport"? At a LOWER price point?? That would be too cheap for their 'image'. It will probably cost the same as a loaded LR2, (40k).

The top looks good, but I would never buy a Land Rover.

Neither would many previous LR 'victims'... Like myself.

It would border on masochistic to even consider such a purchase.

And my dad... he had a 90's LR RR, and it was a reliability nightmare...

Again, the global sales numbers do not lie. LR has record sales in 2007. We own a LR3 HSE & Range Rover Sport HSE, and both vehicles perform flawlessly. We really enjoy both vehicles. I think the LR issues of the 90s are behind them. Also, the dealer in San Antonio is fantastic. I recommend you give them another chance, I think you will be pleasently surprised.

"I think the LR issues of the 90s are behind them."

Then why are they still at the very bottom of all the reliability charts?

I would've considered an RR Sport seriously instead of our X5, but the reliability stories were to scary.
