im getting a ps3 just because of GT5 and its cockpit view...that makes the game a whole lot more interactive, and as much as i love forza 2, it fails to have that option..

Oh come on, Test Drive Unlimited has the cockpit view, and it's executed very well. Not like it's a new thing from Sony. And the graphics won't actually be that good, i bet.

Did you play the GT4? The graphics were out of this earth for the PS2! I played the demo on the PS3, and this game is unbeatable when it comes to graphics. Its soooo real!

I read somewhere that they were going to incorporate crash damage into GT5... does anyone know if that's still happening? It would be SO cool if they're finally able to incorporate that into the game and the physics engine.

GT5 will be even sweeter just for the major fact that the franchise finally licensed Ferrari.

Whoops, sorry about that. And yes...I did play GT4. Good game, I admit. I just think that this is being over anticipated like so many games these days.

****. now I have to decide whether to get the 360 (forza) or ps3 (gt5). this is gonna be a REALLY HARD decision. GT4 was the best racing game on the ps2. and forzas avail, ahhh!!!!

For those that haven't played it... it's sick. True story.... I was playing the demo, and my wife was in the kitchen, she was watching the TV, and didn't notice the controller in my hands. She asks, "Who's that driving? That's a pretty car."
I said, "It's a game"
She actually had to come over to the TV and look closely at the people before she believed it. This game looks ridiculous. GT4 used 3,000 polygons per car, this game uses 300,000 polygons per car.

This is the reason people will buy PS3's.
