It'll sure be over $100K alright. But you're right, to achieve such incredible speed, it'll need very expensive materials.

Just like the Mercedes SLR 722, the LF-A will be made entirely out of exotic materials like carbon fiber monoque structure, nano rivet bonding, titanium engine, etc. That's how the SLR got the 7:22 time at the Nurburgring because of exotic and expensive material. Suprisingly, the LF-A is still 2 seconds behind the SLR 722.

I believe it when I see it? that what everyone up said about the Lexus IS-F Which by the goes from 0-60 in 4.2s faster than the New M3 and Audi RS4.

Nissan GT-R beat pretty all the Supercar the road or track except the Veyron. But the Veyron cost like what 1+ million dollar?

The only way we'll know if the IS-F is faster than the M3 and RS4 in a straight line is if they are tested by the same driver, on the same piece of track on the same day. Without doing that the comparison is useless. Anyway, the best car for me is the one that feels best to drive, not the one who's 0-60 time I can brag about down the pub.

This 7:24 time is highly impressive, and certainly a possibility. A car like this would hugely improve Lexus image. But can it really be faster than the 612bhp Carrera GT? If this is true then it must be incorporating many weight-reduction techniques. Can't wait to hear more details on the actual specs.

"Lexus" I recall a comparison test posted on this website a month or two ago of an IS-F on the same day racing an RS4 side-by-side & the RS4 won. I don't care if C&D says the IS-F is quicker than the M3 because they got one millisecond on the M3 that was tested on a different day in wet conditions (C&D claimed they could’ve gotten better numbers in dryer weather).

I'll say it again yes I will believe it when I see it. There is nothing here to prove anything & proof is a big thing when it come to the "Ring," especially when it's known in the past that many have claimed phony numbers in early production stages to build hype around a car.

GT-R is a perfect example, @ the beginning of the year we were hearing ridiculous numbers like 7:12 around the track no problem. Not until the cars release & some real testing around the ring was done that we learned those numbers were complete bogus, merely some Nissan engineers over-hyping their project.

Furthermore you have no idea what you're talking about with who's faster than who on the "Ring" as you don't realize the GT-R can beat the Veyron around the track, it's more nimble through the corners. What it still can't beat though is Porsche, & after half a century I don't think anyone will.

The fastest 911 did 7:32, allot faster then the GT-R.

The speculated Veyron time was never actually tested.

Numbers... Numbers are useless without credible (independent) sources.
