A perfect ride/handling balance has always been a Jaguar given, and the current generation's use of aluminum is also class-leading, so all that remains is making it look more desirable...

Jaguar's XF-Series proves that there's a lot of life left in the Marque, and I have little doubt that the next XJ-Series will be even more stunning.

it has to be for them to stay afloat...they have come out with 2 great desgined vehicles in the XK and the XF, now hopefully the XJ can follow in the same suit.

I always loved the recent XJ class...hopefully they keep some of the attributes, low rooflines and dual headlamps, etc

Agreed - hopefully they can modernize it and keep those headlamps incorporated in the design.

nice over all appearance. I think the light accents look goofy. the side vents are supposed to tie the model lines together?? they look stupid on their other cars too.

This is a mule, a.k.a. it's the new chassis on the current car's body. NOT what the new XJ will look like.

Already looks like a beast! Jaguar are on a role having blown the opposition into the weeds with the XK and XF...

I actually love how the current XJ looks. With the right wheels, it's truly "gorgeous."

Can't wait for the new one, because I've been very impressed by the XK and the XF.

Ok guys here is the scoop from the inside. This is the test mule for the 5.0 Liter. Notice the tire size. Notice the cooling vent in front of the driver. notice the bigger intakes at the front. this is not the next xj just a mule for the engine. The engine was tested last week out of the box in the naturally aspirated version. The dyno said 470bhp. thats right boys and girls 470bhp. without the supercharger!!!!!!!!

I wondered if that was actually the case, but I was not sure due to the modifications to the stance.

470 bhp with no supercharger? Goodness, I do wonder what the rating will be for the supercharged engine. I don't have to tell you that in the 4.2 liter V8 it adds 100 hp.

Also CDOKE I would venture that this is also an interior test mule for the next gen car. due to the fact that i can see the cowl over the gauges and it seems to be similar to that of the XF and XK. The other giveaway that i failed to mention is the the rotors are drilled for cooling.
