Nardelli tells employees Chrysler’s headed for huge loss
According to a recent report by The Wall Street Journal, just months after Chrysler was bought out by private equity firm Cerebus, the automaker is facing some serious financial struggle and is trying to sell land, plants and other assets to raise cash.

I had great faith in Chrysler in the old days and even bought a brand new 1972 Imperial which I enjoyed very much until the gas lines formed due to the Arab-Israeli war about a year later-- sold the Imperial and bought a Datsun station wagon to make sure I would not run out of gas. Now I think that Chrysler will fold sooner than later as there were no buyers for a bond issue they there trying to float recently. I hope Cerberus has deep pockets.

I too once had enormous faith in the Chrysler group, especially from a design perspective, when the striking LH-Series vehicles introduced the cab-forward design language back in the early 1990's.

Their 1990's offerings might not have been the performance leaders of their day, but they were certainly distinctive and handsome, as were the 1990's Avenger, Sebring, Stratus, Cirrus, Caravan et al.

Then... Nothing But Crap!

and the 'Dick Tracy Mobiles Come To Life' LX-Series is just not enough to sustain an entire automotive group.

Please Chrysler do everyone a favor sell off Jeep to another player in the business and fold your tent, nobody is feeling sorry for you.
Get out of Dodge ( excuse the pun) while you still can with some respect?

Sorry about that johannas but many of us remember those Chrysler days when the service dept told you to get lost we ain't fixing nothing sue us, or you neglected the car so we don't have to fix it, of course the car was just bought new and you expect the radio to work or a window to go up and down but they tell you somebody smoked in the car (we don't smoke) and it voided the warranty. You tend to get a little angry after years of snowing the public, sorry i'm butal with them but the dealers and Corp are and were the worst of the worst to me?

^^ Sounds like a personal problem or $h1tty dealership. I hope that Chrysler can get its act together. Decrease the amount of cars being produced and concentrate on a core of vehicles. MBZ over extended itself and dropped the ball with Chrysler. Went from profitable to busted in a short period of time :-P
