Merry Christmas: Dinan gives the BMW M5 and M6 628 horsepower

After offering a whopping 384 horsepower upgrade for the 335i, Dinan has revealed their latest performance modifications for the BMW M5’s and M6’s 5.7 liter V10 engine. The M5 and M6 already produce a whopping 500 horsepower, but imagine the amount of acceleration an additional 128 horsepower can provide.

By adding High Flow Throttle Bodies, Free Flow Mufflers and a racing middle exhaust, Dinan gives the M5 and M6 a total of 628 horsepower with 482 lb-ft torque. Dinan doesn’t provide any 0-60...

I've heard about Dinan's 335i software and intercooler combo that gives the car over 400hp and 500lb-ft, but what upgrade does Dinan offer that turns a 300hp 335i into a 684hp vehicle? That one I have not heard about.

You do know that
hp = torque (ft-lb) at 5250rpm, right?

How can a car has 400hp and 500ft-lb?
Unless its rev limit is less than 5250rpm, which would be a 1st for BMW 3series.

Have you ever looked at a turbo diesel or basically any moderate displacement engine with a small turbo? There are MANY instances were an engine can make more torque then horsepower beyond 5000rpm. Some of you guys amaze me..

Put in the wrong hands this car should be renamed the Dinan Casket Deluxe (burial rights included).
There are going to be people who will drive this model with little or no training in how to drive this beast.
