the CLS is pretty much an E-Class dressed in haute cocher.

I'm taking it that you meant Haute Couture?

Note: French for "high sewing" or "high dressmaking"; pronounced [o?t ku'ty?]it refers to the creation of exclusive custom-fitted fashions.

If so, then yes, the CLS is little more than a High Fashion E-Class.

Haute cocher..LOL. Better not let Tyra hear you say that!

I like it overall with the exception of the mirrors: they look a little weird design-wise. Somehow they don't seem to flow with the rest of the car.

Doesn't really look any different than the model that we have now. Thats what MB calls new?
I'm confused.

you wrote perfect competitor... I think that means it "competes". Use another word next time to avoid looking like an idiot.

wow michael, you are either dumber than f*** or just plain ignorant
have you learned that the word "competitor" is derived from "compete?" or are you still in preschool...

Agent009 is having a rough time differentiating "new" and a "refresh".

I like it. I am not fond of the wheels though and have four of them sitting in my garage as those same wheels came stock on my 997tt . They are good quality and forged BBS but I think they look Corvetteish .

While I think so many of Mercedes' efforts have been lacking for a long time, this has been one of the best...and still is. It is definitely a love-it or hate-it design, but IMO it's focused and has a singular purpose - it looks sharp and performs well. It is not MEANT to have a load of rear headroom...it's meant to look good. If you need the rear room, you don't get this car....simple as that. Change the styling from Teutonic to British and this is what a Jaguar should be in terms of proportions and concept.

"It is definitely a love-it or hate-it design"

Actually, no. It's a LOVE it design. No "hate" here.

IMO, it's the second most beautiful sedan on the road... behind the Maserati QP.

Nice car- almost Porsche-like back, and front too is nice. Hope it drives nice too!

By the way: those Mercedes-logo's on front are getting SO large... fifteen years ago it wasn't larger than the bottom of a teacup, now its almost the size of a melon!
