.27 is awesomely slick with one of the most beautifully designed machine both inside and out.

The Nissan GT-R should of have Won the Performance award as well. Come on....it run around the famous German track in 7:38s and do 0-60 in 3.3s or less. And the best part is, it only $70k?

GTR is very distinct from other cars, like the Porsche 911 because it's design is functional rather than cosmetic. That is exactly why both are awesome, and this is exactly why both designs make sense, rather than just trying to be pretty or something.

Apparently you will get knocked by fan boys if you type anything negative about he GT-R...lol. What I respect most about the GT-R is its sole purpose to be ALL about performance.

I think it is kind of funny for a Nissan Exec to have to say the looks are more about performance than style. I guess they have heard critics talk about the style as well. :)

No one looks at a Corvette? Why is that exactly Kraut? All Corvette drivers I know swear by them. I am looking foward to test driving the GT-R if I can find one and compare it to the 911 in drive feel.

I've had 2audis, 2toyotas, acura, honda... and now an infiniti.
I'm going to say that I like all brands... not biased except the fact that I love my New G35sport.
In my opinion, the GTR design wise, is not exotic - but very cool and somewhat different = postitive in my books...[notice my careful choice of words to explain this "art-like" subject?]
For what this car is + at its price --- it stands for many things that we seek for in a sports car in this continent. Before this car, our choices were small - Corvette, Camaro, Mustang GT, ummm what else? The German M5/M6 is too much, although plenty fast... NSX is coming, the LFA is coming too... BUT - NSX will be double the GTR's price at their current prices - and the new one is probably going to be more $$.... LFA? - even if Lexus is able to match or BEAT the GTR's performance - this LFA will be triple the price of the GTR. .. Sure, the LFA looks more exotic - with Ferarri/Lambo like looks - but too much $$... BMW's M3?-doesn't even come close to the numbers that the GTR is outputing!-at almost the same cost range [fully loaded].
Anyways, with this car, Nissan is going to PISS alot of ppl off - porsche,bmw,merc,GM[latest 620hp corvette,viper,etc] - because it beats everything at lower cost = ALL ABOUT THE GTR!
