Pininfarina being considered to help build Aston Martin’s Rapide

Aston Martin’s CEO, Ulrich Bez, has said that the company’s current number one priority is developing the Rapide. In a recent interview with AutoCar, Bez said that Aston Martin is considering building the Rapide in Italy with a third-party manufacturer and that sports car specialist Pininfarina is one of the potential third party production experts on the table.

Oh please no. I have said it before and I will say it again Pininifarinas designs really don't age that well. There is something about them that makes them too vogue of-the-time and not classic enough.

Oh there are quite a few- most of them are the concepts for car that were not chosen (they did one for Jaguar at one point) The best example is the singel most hideous Rolls-Royce- the Carmargue.

I thought it was strange that we have seen the design but pininfarina would be involved. After reading it tihngs make more sense.

Yes the design for the car is frozen and will not change.It is now a matter of making it roomy enough for 4 people to sit comfortably in it.

doesn't Pininfarina make kitchens. I read Robb Report and they had a article about Pininfarina. that they make retro kitchens
