The Black Series was not just an afterthought for MB. There is actually a racing heritage behind the Black Series. Why doesn't Lexus finally release the IS-F. Enter a racing version in any series. Win! Then bring the public a street version of their race winning car.

Is that an actual car or just more Photochopping? The MB C Black Series is a bad track car unless the suspension is reworked. I will wait when it actually exists to make comment.

I remembered reading on American Le Mans Series website that they were supposed to enter the IS in the GT2 class when they first came out. I think they didn't get the program up and running in time.

Perhaps they will go into ALMS...

DTM isn't as lame as you think. It's a very competitive sport. And contrary to popular belief, the two teams currently competing in it, Audi and Mercedes, are sponsored by different companies. Hence you have an Audi ABT TEAM competing against a totally different Audi SPORT TEAM.

You should look it op on wikipedia, there are three big teams in the GT500 bracket (nissan, honda, lexus). And in the lower class there are 6 big teams (nissan. honda, lexus, toyota, mazda, subaru).

There are also lots of small private teams running porsche's and lambo's.
