I'm sur this is a worthy competitor to the E55 AMG, but for the price I would expect a much better interior. It looks cheap and plasticky, kind of like the X5. I would expect a more luxurious interior for the price.

I personally don't see a problem with the interior. For a car all about performance it's good to see a dash that not contaminated with idiot lights and buttons and knobs everywhere. As for the 5 speed manual...that's currently not an option but that is being worked on. I can't think of one single competitor, Japanese, American, or German for that matter that has a 500+ hp vehicle with a 5 or 6 speed for the price of the 5. So why be so hard on BMW when there is obviously no other vehicle manufacturer that can say otherwise?
