Detroit Motor Show Preview: Audi TTS photo leaked
Thanks to the Spanish automotive website Motorpasion we can now see how the new S version of the Audi TT will look like. The new Audi TTS comes with larger air intakes, double rear exhaust showing in this way a more aggressive look and with a new engine, maybe the most important part in this new version, a 2.0L turbo delivering 272hp.

Standard Audi Sporty looks which is a good thing. I never did like that non-functional large front valance vents. I am digging the use of LEDs in new cars! Audi should have made the TTS 300BHP. Perhaps reserving that for the next generation.

This will be a very light car, so the 272hp should be sufficient for 5 sec 0-60 times.

but at the same time was 20 more horses really worth the S badge, and new body styling...it seems like they are selling themselves short engine wise this car should have at least 300+hp, with the RS having a high 300 or low 400...a 20hp gain just doesnt seem really worth the badge.....but i love the looks

THIS IS THE 2.0T. THE 3.2 HAS 250HP, THE 2.0T HAS 272HP IN THE TT-S. Because of that, it will be significantly lighter than the 3.2! Meaning it will be faster without needing a ton more horsepower!

It's the exact same as the A3 lineup--A3 2.0T (200hp), A3 3.2 (250hp), S3 (2.0T 270hp). The S3 can crush the A3 3.2 in a straight line... and if the driver is lucky, an A3 2.0T can, too!

and yet the 250hp v6 gets to 60 in 5.3-5.5 seconds with 22 less horses, and the s model does the same according to audi..so there isnt a point in this being an S car, other than just for the hell of it. it looks good but it doesnt make much sense at all...the 2.0t competes with the base Z4 and the V6 with the top Z4 I6, so what good does this car do other than just to add more S models

According to Audi the TT 3.2 does 0-62 in 5.9, the 265hp S3 does 5.7.
Excpect this car to be a whole lot faster.

"and yet the 250hp v6 gets to 60 in 5.3-5.5 seconds"

Ah, you should've told me you thought that. That's incorrect. TT 3.2 gets about 5.8.

I just hope it has a 40/60 f/r torque split, or torque vectoring.

do you think ECU upgrades will be available for the TTS?

Saw one just a few days ago, stunning, but still no sunroof.

What a beautiful car...The TT-RS will be one mean looking machine with a likely 350 horsepower engine. It will be good for 0-60 in under 4.8 seconds.

Audi needs these little S touches and an ever expanding product portfolio if it is to catch up to BMW and Mercedes in global annual sales.

I would much rather have the Audi TTS over a Nissan GT-R, and have enough money to get the family a new 150 inch Panasonic plasma.

The Audi S3 already does 0-60 in 5.7 seconds, this thing is gonna fly being lighter and more powerfull.

The only turbo engine Honda makes only produces 140hp.
