Lexus LX 570 goes on sale in China, priced at $179,000

Shanghai. January 10 (Gasgoo.com) - The new 2008 LX 570 full-size luxury utility vehicle is going on sale today at China's southern city of Shenzhen. The vehicle will be priced at 1.3 million yuan ($179,000), about $100,000 more expensive than in North American market.

a mojority of it is import tax from the Government, but for some odd reason, lexus does like to hike up the prices in other countries beside the US, so im guessing they are getting their "fair" share

In Jamaica the duties on this would be 188%....the landcruiser costs $191,000 USD...and there are quite a few of them on the roads...
