Mugen confirmed us this morning that we will get a Mugen RR within 1 week to test drive, but before being able to give you live photos and video of this wonder, please feast your eyes with this New Type-RR Experimental Spec which has been specially dressed with a stunning aluminum bonnet, and carbon fiber front, which is also powered by a K20A engine of 2157cm3 (260PS, 235Nm) and which also received a special Carbon fiber interior.

Our Type-RR Experimental Spec also feature the i-TCMS or Intelligent-Tire Condition Monitoring System and Recaro Seats.

At what price? The mugen bodykit alone on the civic SI put it over 30k large, and they didnt even touch the engine. With 260hp, im sure it will touch 50k. And for a civic, that insanity.

You have to remember that Mugen in Japan and the Mugen option from Honda in the US are two very separate things...I seriously doubt Honda would ever offer a type-RR in the US. That being said, I love Hondas, but yea you are right, Civics shouldn't be anywhere near 50k, no matter what mods they have...
