TAS 08: Toyota TRD and MarkX Zio TGDA Concept

We tested the new Toyota MarkX Zio 3 weeks ago (we will publish our review on this vehicle within 1 week now), and while we loved the design of this new 7 seater Wagon, we were somehow wondering where all the power of the V6 engine was gone... But this morning we stumble upon the ULTIMATE MarkX Zio, the TGDA Concept which is in fact an OVER powered MarkX Zio and ready for the Super GT300.

While TRD was not able to comment on the real specifications of this concept and its real power, we had the chance to watch an amazing video were you could see 4 persons running like crazy on tracks. Now not only this car seems powerful but it also look great !

I cant help but think of the old tacomas and tundras with the "turd" sticker slapped on the back

If you knew any thing about TRD you wouldn't make such stuppid comment's. And the don't sell tacoma's and tundra's in Japan.

Here in the US the "TRD" was sloppily tossed around the brand and even onto tacomas and tundras. Therefore giving the designation "TRD" a laughable image.

I never said TRD was bad. Just criticizing Toyota for misuse of a designation of cars that did not merit the badge err.... sorry, sticker on the rear.

TRD is very popular in Japan, but you are right in the US toyota hasn't done much to promote it.
