and all 3 would be here in Middle East. These arabs are just... They are mad for SLRs. Not now but till last year i was seeing nearly one eveyyday on Dubai roads and Showrooms were loaded with them (each showroom has atleast 1).

they should instead go for more Ferraris or Lamborghinis.

That looks better and are much more capable on road/track.

I hope the Arabs are investing in other non-oil related ventures to get ready for whats coming in the next 10-15 years.

That being said, its sad that the Arabs cant do much with their money for a country where the lifestyle (for the vast majority) sucks unless you live in a bubble of wealth. Come to Miami Beach, you will love it here. SLRs, Lambos, Ferraris, and anything you can think of parked on the curb.

the arab market has many knowledgeable techs with exotics. don't be fooled. yes they have wealth, but they also have funds to source their wants.

and i don't think the Arabs will have an issue in the next 25yrs for the least. sure many are resorting alternative fuels, but oil won't die...there will always be a demand for them.

All down to your opinion. I mean, don't get me wrong. I love both Lambos and Ferrari, alot. However, the SLR is also a stunning machine.

i didn't say they should not buy SLRs (u just come here and see for yourself how many SLRs are here) but they should definately opt for more Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches..etc

I think here SLR sells three time any other comparable exotic. something 3-1.

but good to see now they r changing i see a lot of F430s and Bentley GTs nowadys. before it was just SLRs.

on other note Cars like SL and CL outsells 911s and 6 series...etc more like 10-1. which too should be opposite.

Middle East is a die hard Mercedes fans. they'll buy anything with 3 pointed star on it. Even dull B class and ML are very popular here.
