Could this picture give us hints of a new BMW convertible?




Look at this 'design exercise' done by the folks over at Designworks USA (BMW's USA design house), for the LA Auto Show.

Could this be giving us hints about the future direction of their line of convertibles?

Finally, a sexy BMW.

Hopefully it's approved.

Until then,probably 2012, Lexus has my heart.

The LF-S especially.

BMW's Californian design house has been in effect for over a decade and a half. In *my* mind, that shows that they can design beautiful cars (Z8), ugly ones (current 7, 6, 5) and nondescript ones (4 and soon to be released new 3). There is obvious more to designing beautiful cars than being located in America or not.
