Rolls-Royce CEO confirms baby-Phantom and new engine

Rolls-Royce Chairman and CEO Ian Robertson confirmed plans for the baby Rolls-Royce we’ve been hearing about. Code-named RR-4, the baby Rolls-Royce Phantom will get a “brand-new” engine which Robertson says is “a further substantial advance.”

This is a bit perplexing, given that the only luxury vehicle manufacturer currently selling hybrids is Lexus, or have I missed something?

The Phantom Drophead (pictured) is absolutely gorgeous, and IMO, it perfectly showcases exactly what a Rolls-Royce of the twenty-first century should look like, drive like and feel like. Effortless acceleration, glamorous and imposing design, interior with the best attention to detail of any car on sale. I love it. I hope it can be replicated with the baby R-R.

I was in a Rolls Royce/Bentley Dealership by my house over the summer, and I saw a blue/Silver Drophead in person. DropHead=DropDead Gorgeous!!! and its presence is just mind blowing...
