Thats really strange! well, i guess hybrid cars are getting plenty of attention

Hybrids offer an upgrade in fuel economy and power, and lower emissions over standard gasoline engines. It really would not be a bad thing if a hybrid variation were offered for every car in production today. The negatives of hybrids that still shy many away (weight, snooty image, global warming skepticism etc.) will all start to diminish as more advanced hybrid systems are developed, and more people buy them.

And what does this photo have to do with the article? It looks like a PT Cruiser convertible, which is not an SUV?...

SUVs = overhyped and overrated

Please tell me why I should get an X5 when I can get a 5 series sedan with more spacious seating, much better ride AND handling, better acceleration, and better fuel economy.

I just can't understand why people are so stuck on SUV's. Especially if the goal is the get the most transportation bang/buck. I looked up the 5-series vs. the X5 and the sedan/wagon (which is also available in AWD), actually has several inches MORE legroom.

Basically the only thing left with the SUV is ground clearance, towing, and looks. I wonder which one of these three is important to buyers?

it could be the big **** appeal, and how having one shows how much of a "man" you are, which utterly dumb.

it is BECAUSE suvs get such lousy mileage, that many people want to know if there are hybrid suvs out there.

a lot of 'em probably would want a prius, but want/need the space an suv provides.
