Bring Em' On!

GM's really looking strong with two excellent RWD Sport Sedans in its stable:

The CTS and the G8!

I wouldn't be surprised if people slapped superchargers on these things after only a few months. A mere $5k should have the 6.0L G8's pushing 500hp with no problems.

actually, the g8s australian cousin which is a holden commodore clubsport, can be fitted with a supercharger up to 530 under warranty through the dealer. I wonder if they'll do that here too. its a badass car, the G8. but I prefer the looks of its european cousin, the vauxhall vxr8. this impressed me:

The G8 definitely looks conservative in comparison to it's overseas brethren. Nonetheless, it's a great looking auto; I'm a huge fan of Aussie muscle.

This would be a great car for quelling weekend boredom.

Don't hold your breath waiting for FPVs to show up at the shores. Ford is like that one annoying friend who just wants to do the same boring sh*t all the time.

Bmw8ter,
That sums up my feelings of Ford better than I could have done. Great post!

I saw a production prototype about two weeks back. I was really impressed with the styling. It looks really good should be a big hit when it hits showroom floors.

I think it will do well. With the economy going stagnet, for power, people will turn to this vehicle because it has aggressive styling, but doesnt look like it is from the fast and the furious. The new G6 is really nice and a huge upgrade from the grand am, this should be nice as well. Also, one thing this does have that the germans dont, remote start!

1 year ago, I wouldn't be caught dead in a GM, but now I actually like GM more than Toyota (which I own 2 cars from).

GM is really impressing me lately. My next car will probably be a GM.
