2009 Nissan GT-R Test Drive Video: 0-60mph in 3.3 Seconds!
The first 2009 Nissan GT-R test drive video from Edmunds.com. Faster than the Porsche 911 Turbo, Dodge Viper and Corvette Z06 for only $70,000 USD !!

The car in the video is a Japanese-spec example with 1,500 break-in kilometers. It’s owned by Japanese journalist Jun Nishikawa and packs the same hardware the U.S. car will get: a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 that generates at least 473 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque.

How does the twin-turbo Nissan GT-R stack up against the Zonda F V12 ?

Included is another great video that perfectly synchronizes both cars going around the Nurburing.

There's little doubt that this vehicle has started a completely new chapter in the Performance GT Record Books!

I can't wait to see what the tuner market can do with it.

you don't have to wait...search for pix from the TAS '08. Most major tuners have one in their booth with mods already.

That 0-60 really is impressive consideing its hp/wt ratio. Then again, so is its handling and grip.

Cool!

Do you have to be on the list to get one, or can you just "walk in" and order one at the dealer?

Hmm

Still waiting for Kaiser and the others who were so sure that the GTR could not possibly reach the times Nissan claimed.

they'll back-pedal until they stumble...i wouldn't be surprised to see if they claimed some sort of cheating/advantage the GTR had over another.

we mite even be lucky and get only paragraph (aside from the 50 lines) of kaiser's "vast" vocabulary. ;)

GODZILLA returns with a mean a$$ kicking! no 2-ways about...Porshce, it's your turn.
