Heartless man of the week: Driver sues family of boy he killed

In August of 2004, Thomas Delgado, killed 17-year-old Enaitz Irondo, after hitting him with his Audi A8. Entaiz was riding his bike home when Delgado’s car, struck and killed him.

A traffic report stated that Delgado was traveling 70mph in an area where the speed limit was 55mph. However, an independent expert hired by Irondo’s family said Delgado was actually travelling at 107mph, which resulted in criminal charges being filed against Delgado. Shortly after, a judge dismissed criminal charges and Delgado’s insurance company ended up cashing out $48,500 to Irondo’s family.

If you read up on the most recent articles on this. The man actually pulled the lawsuit claiming he was being badgered and harrassed because of the claim.

So there is no more suing going on. And for the record, this guy should be tied to his bumper by a carjacker and dragged. I wouldn't put it past someone in that country looking to off him. I hope they do it too.

Spain is definitely not the US. Attorneys here would of clipped this low-life jerk for millions and he should go to jail for at least manslaughter. It looks to me this had enough money to buy off a Spanish official.

i dont get it, this case has vehicular homicide written all over it. why isnt the driver in jail? that guy would be in prison right now if it were the US. why would the judge drop criminal charges? makes no sense!
