Porsche reveals GT3 Cup S with 20 more horses

Porsche today added another member to its 911 family with the introduction of the GT3 Cup S. The cars will race in international champion-ships which run in accordance with FIA GT3 regulations.

The 3.6 liter boxer engine was tuned with upgraded engine electronics and a modified exhaust system to increase output by 20hp for a total of 440.

The GT2 is the ultimate 911. Yes, I would have it over the GT3. And it's tantalizingly close to my zone, but with only two seats and racer aspirations, so far away...

GT2 is the ultimate 911, but the GT3 is soooooooooo much more fun to drive. Its so much more hardcore than the GT2. The GT3 is as raw of a track car as the GT2 is fast...

Can't go wrong with either...

well, there was a 996 edo competition gt2 rs that lapped the nurburgring in 7:15, however i don't think porsche themselves will make the 997 gt2 rs. It will probably be done by edo again.
