First pic of the next S-Class in testing the USA









The bad news is the picture is blurry and even with photo enhancements, it still looks like it came straight off the Zapruder film.

The good news is that we have it and that you can really make out the aggressive new shape of the car.

Design seems interesting, because of the big rump - presumably to give the car more presence. If it is priced more cheaply than the existing model then it will be a moderate success, if the pricing is higher than the current model (and it may have to be for reasons of dollar collapse versus the Euro) if will fail.

Separately did you see the article in the Financial Times talking about how German Taxi drivers are deserting Mercedes big time, and how Mercedes earnings, sales and respect are all taking a beating in Europe?
