Top 10 Hottest Coupes of 2008

Top 10 Hottest Coupes of 2008
Forget the kids and cargo — you can ride in high style as a true individualist thanks to the latest crop of coupes.

More than 26,000 Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedans were sold in the U.S. last year, according to CNW Marketing Research in Bandon, Ore., but only 3,672 people bought its striking two-door equivalent, the CL-Class.

Don’t get the wrong idea — the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class is not a bad car. It’s just less convenient for drivers who sometimes need to take along more than one passenger.

I think the smart for 2 is on there because it is different and unique from the rest. How many other coupes are there?

EL34 if you think the Infiniti G37 is not one of the hottest cars of 08 you need to be banned from this site. And the GTR is going to be one of the hottest of 2009. Also the G37 has none of the "rough edges" that you so abhor of the GTR.

EL34 is just annoyed that Nissan, or any Asian car manufacturer, can produce great cars. Takes a small person...

obviously EL 34 is too poor(or too young) to legally own any car.

seriously, i couldn't care less for a comment from someone who cannot even afford a car, or someone who kept bashing cars that he/she has never even test driven.

The G37 doesnt live up to the hype. And yes, Ive driven one.

The interior is still cheap, the engine and suspension are harsh and unrefined. And the car doesnt compare to its German stablemates in fit and finish, build quality, refinement, and overall satisfaction.

I walked away saying the same thing I said after driving the G35. Blah.

You're right, because it would definitely be on the "10 Hottest Convertibles" list.

or any of the 3 series coupes for that matter! they are the best in my book

What??? No M3??? What a crock!!!

I was surprised to see no 3-series coupes at all on this list. I know it was "the coupe of 2007" but what about the 335xi coupe that was released for 2008?

Or that monster called the M3 that makes every person on the road drool.

The only cars on this list I agree with are the S5 and 135i. But leaving out the new "M3" is a joke. An absolute joke.

Great list but the M3 should've been the Bimmer on the list, not the 135i.

I would have picked the 3 series coupe over the 1 and M# and def put that on the list. But I would in actuality pick a 3 coupe over the 1 and M3 because I personally think it is the best deal out of the 3 so maybe I am biased.
