About time one of the big 3 got a clue and made a decent small car. All of the previous cars looked like they were 'Little Tykes' toys and were about to fall apart within the first 5,000 miles.

GM already has a great small car that is going to be for sale in the US as we speak. The Opel/Saturn Astra.

As for this car, don't expect to see it on US shores until 2010 as they exect. By then Honda, Toyota, Nissan, and GM will already have a freshen up of their current small cars and be leaving Ford once again in the dust. The new Focus in the US is not even up to par with the last generation of Civic and Corolla.

Ford is lame, needs a clue, and should get with the program with what the consumer WANTS!

Same platform, different engines (some engines shared) but different looks, obviously.
