Nissan studying four-door sedan based on GT-R

Remember last week we told you that Nissan is considering an Infiniti badged GT-R? Well, a senior Nissan source has confirmed to MotorTrend that the company is studying the possibility of a high-performance four-door sedan based on the Nissan GT-R. The anonymous source said that the car may be sold under the Infiniti badge.

The four-door sedan will share a lot of GT-R’s mechanicals including the 3.8 liter VR38 V6 engine that produces 480 horsepower and the rear-mounted six-speed DSG-style transmission.

I loved Datsun. I remeber Datsun's kingcab truck was one of the best truck you could buy back in 1980! Calling a Nissan a Datsun is a compliment. Same goes some knuckle heads calling Toyota a Lexus, which is also a huge compliment.

Also seem to make sense now that maserati, porsche are making 4 doors...
of course Skylines are for different sorts of people, to give those in porsche, BMWs maser a hard time... Fun time in GTR with all that flat screen gizmos...
