AUTO SPIES WORLD EXCLUSIVE: The next Escalade

A lot of the internet websites posted an article this week with information about the next Escalade, Tahoe and Yukon launch.

We let you know about six months ago that the next generation Cadillac Escalade, Tahoe and Yukon would debut at next year's Detroit Auto Show.

Their articles confirmed that story.

What they didn't tell you that we will, is the SUV has already been shown to a lot of the high profile athletes and hollywood playa's.

GM wants to make sure they had the approval of this influencial crowd.

They also didn't tell you what the new Escalade looks like...

Is it a radically different looking truck?

No.

Our best description would be Escalade meets the Cadillac Sixteen.

Imagine the sixteen grill and SRX style headlamps slapped on the SUV.

Upgrade the quality of the interior...similar to what they showed at SEMA and there you have it.

You'll see the use of new materials inside like ACTUAL granite accents.

Finally, there will be some new technologies introduced like the 'Virtual Bumper'. It's the next generation of what we all know as park distance control. The difference is this monitors the entire perimeter of the truck.

The Engine Immoblizer is useless on the Escalade. It's the most stolen SUV on the plant. Get the Engine Immoblizer working properly, then maybe I'll consider if I turn away that new Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser, or the futuristic FT-SX also by Toyota.

Push to start ignition and some of the electronic perks as previously mentioned, similar to the C6. Does anyone know or heard anything about that? And will these features also be on the Yukon Denali? Oh, 001 What does the Yukon Denali look like? Hopefully not a larger Envoy Denali.
