Once again Ford neglects it's small car market.

This will need to ride and drive more like Ford of Europe than the other CUV's that Ford offers here now. This would help differentiate it from the GM quads. If it ends up driving and riding like a boat or a minivan then no one will buy it. That said I cant wait to take if for a test drive since I will be in the market at that time. I actually hope they get it right for their sakes. Also since they are dropping the Taurus X they might as well make it a Meta One for Mercury in 2010. And yes I know the Mercury comment entry will get hammered.

while i agree ford should make a practical small car and an exciting version of that same model, i like the flex. hopefully it would be successful enough for them to drop the many other mid sized suvs and then refocus on bringing the European focus to the states.

I've got to admit, that's one great looking vehicle. The only car in the Ford N.A. lineup that I can actually say that about. I'm a little excited to see how Lincoln spins this.

I think Lincoln has enough "spins" of Ford cars already. Uninspiring at best.
