Geneva Preview: Koenigsegg CCX & CCXR enter limited production
Due to the begging of Koenigsegg customers, Koenigsegg has decided to put the CCX and CCXR into limited production. The CCX features a 4.8 liter twin supercharged Koenigsegg engine that produces 888 horsepower, while the ethanol E85 burning CCXR produces 1,018 horsepower.
The cars are more track friendly as compared to the standard model with stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, reset dampers and lowered chassis. It features a fully visible carbon fiber body, a large adjustable rear wing, larger front splitter and side strakes for increased down force and a unique forged wheel design.
