MORE INFO ON THE CARERRA SUPER SEDAN

001,

Your intelligence is correct.

The 911 derived 4-seater does exist in prototype form.

There is an elongated 911 floor pan running around with different engines in it, a 4-litre flat 6 with gas injection developing 400-bhp
(due in the 997 facelift in 2008) and also a 4.5/5.0-litre V8 which surprisingly fits under the 911's bodywork.

I know the v8 exists already but a boxer 8 would have been awesome!

If Porsche wants to knock one out of the park, the four door coupe needs to be a real sedan fighter. A CLS and 5 series should be the target market to really go for a franchise doubler. Porsche owners have shown that they buy SUVS and love the Cayenne. Well guess what else sits in their garages? 5 series, 7 series, CLS, and S 500's, Audi A6 and A8s. The market is craving for Porsche to hit the sedan market. Could not you see a 6, 8, and turbo charged 8 cylinder in a Porsche sedan. Porsche would be the envy franchise of North America. Are there not enough idle plants in Europe for Porsche to grab a hold of and produce what the US dreams of?
