Geneva Preview: Land Rover LRX gets dressed up for Geneva
After showing us the Land Rover LRX in white at the Detroit Auto Show, Land Rover is back with a hot, black and silver version for the 78th Geneva Motor Show. According to Land Rover, the new LRX concept is ‘designed to highlight the concept’s suitability for contemporary personalization.’

Power for the LRX concepts comes from a 2.0 liter turbodiesel hybrid capable of running on bio-diesel, with a potential fuel-economy of 60mpg. Land Rover says this powertrain reduces fuel consumption by as much as 30% compared to other 4×4s of comparable size.

On the road, the new ERAD (Electric Rear Axel Drive) system allows the LRX to travel at 20mph on electric...

im confused as to why the freelander didnt end up looking like this, the lr whatever doesnt really look good it looks odd and ackward in person. this lrx is nice looking it would very nice im sure in a larger size

It's nice but I would rather see a 2-door Range Rover instead from the company. Like the old 2-door county from Range Rover back in the 90's.

Its nice, but it doesnt really look like a Range Rover. It looks like a mix of all of ford's SUV products. Its got hints of a Lincoln, Ford Edge, Ford Bronco Concept a few years back, etc... Its not bad though...
