They've always had at least one...the Corniche notably. Coach-built coupes were common as well, back in the 1920's-60's.

and dont forget the rarely seen carmargue coupe from Rolls Royce, ive saw a white along time ago that was it. This phantom to me just looks kinda odd though

The Camargue looked odd too - a weird half 70's Italian half trad British resulted in a slab sided, un-ornamented, rather plain car, with the rear lights off an Alfa Romeo, and an angled (!) grill. It leaned backwards 7 degrees.
Split-level climate control though, a world first.

Design-wise the Camargue is very similar to the Phantom coupe, in terms of grills leaning backwards and non-traditional styling.

BMW/RR did a great job developing this one, no wonder it is sold out.

I'd love to see the data on the other cars owned by the purchasers of this coupe. Maybe 90% of them are being sold in LA. Now if it only came in a hybrid :-)

A car with a hood so long, it requires the use of cameras on each corner to see when at an intersection. LOL!

Rolls should come out with an updated Wraith and make it a true sports car just for the hell of it.

Everything they do sells out fast, so why not.

Never thought I'd say this, but anyone else think Bentley's are getting too common? I see them everywhere (in the midwest) and it appears the mega rich want something different now.

I can only figure that this ugly coupe sells well based on snob appeal. The interior is nicer than the exterior, but still not nice enough for me to buy one even if I had the money.

For my money the Bentley Brooklands would be my huge, luxurious, obscenely expensive coupe of choice. Yes, I know the platform is obsolete, but that engine is phenomenal! The Brooklands is probably more fun to drive as well. And the car is gorgeous inside and out!

I disagree with Chip's remark about Bentleys becoming too commonplace. I live in Richmond, Virginia, with a metropolitan population of 1,000,000. I live in the most affluent "side" of town, and I have seen exactly three Bentleys - two Arnages and one Continental Flying Spur. I have only seen one RR Phantom. (It was a sedan, by the way.) It doesn't look like either Bentley or Rolls-Royce will be challenging the Toyota Camry for sales supremacy any time soon!

In my life I've discovered that most racists are people who have nothing interesting to talk or think about. Their personalities and their lives are sorely lacking, so they become enraged when they see spades enjoying themselves. Misery loves company.

You should know better. There are all kinds of different rappers with different personalities, perspectives, and attitudes about life.

The ignorant wannabe gangsters are a group that Viacom (parent company of MTV, BET, VH1) and the Radio stations and Record companies choose to promote.

Current popular American culture as a whole promotes tasteless consumption and self-promotion. Watch the E! channel once in a while, you'll see.

I don't watch rap videos. I outgrew rap when i turned 25. It's just a bunch of fake gangsters and ignorant loudmouths telling lies. It's for kids.

rap has turned around a bit. there are some rappers like lupe fiasco and common and sometimes kanye west who promote no violence and sex with less vulgar and better rap. the southern rap just makes kids in my HS look like a bunch of ***holes.

the RR dealer a few days ago was on a parking lot of a bentley dealer and I thought it was pretty interesting.

Definitely not an attractive car. When I see an BMW Rolls Royce, it instantly speaks "SUV" to me. It's huge, and ineligant. Well, until I can afford one, my comments don't matter much.
