I thought the Toyota Paseo was discontinued years ago. Oh, that was a two-door. Guess they felt we had to have a four-door this time around. After salivating over those great pics of the LF-S concept car months ago, first thinking it was the next LS, then the GS, then reading that it was the IS, Toyota ultimately produced more of the same -- another cookie-cutter car we have seen for the last ten years. People may disagree about the styling direction of BMW, but people are talking about them more than ever. Not much talk will be made about this IS, unlike the first generation version. This car should have the Toyota badge. At least they got one part right and retained the rear-drive layout.

I've visited this web site for months. I get a kick from all the un-informed people who state their opinions. The inside scoop is Lexus is about to make a major assault on mercedes and bmw. Everyone else is not in the ball game. It's starting with the GS series then the 400h then the IS series then the new ES then the new LS then the 440h gs then the RX 350 then what ever the want to do. Toyota has more cash than bmw, mercedes benz,gm and ford combined. No One can build a better car or suv for the money period.
The sales numbers will be the proof.Wait till you see the number of sales this new Is 250,350 will take out bmw's # series.
