New Pontiac Solstice Targa limited edition

How are the sales on the regular Solstice? Are they selling well? I don't see many on the road.

I think this will be Pontiac's version of the Porsche Cayman. It'll be priced considerably more than the roadster since they're offering the turbo as the base engine and they think the coupe body will add some cache'. Porsche apparently has pulled it off, but I'm not sure Pontiac can do the same.

They better get the production quality together real quick. They have issues with both the SKY and Solstice. Under investigation for the brakes right now! And sort out the suspension and drop a V6 in it and the roadster. And do not offer racing stripes. And it might have a chance. Could be cool!

04CTSVforMe - If you send you car to Mallet, you will have a car with hilarious power. They do an excellent job on their conversions on the SKY/Solstice.

I don't believe any of the stats in the article. First, 10k cars is the same number per year as the Solstice, Sky and Opel GT per year. I do not consider the same number as all other models to be limited in any way. Second, I find it hard to believe in the current market they would consider a V-8 option. We have heard "never a V-8" out of Lutz from the beginning. It fits, but it is very tight and there is more to it than just shoving in a bigger engine.
