Aston Martin looks to Mercedes for hybrid technology
As we reported in early February, Aston Martin and Mercedes-Benz were talking cooperation that would range from sharing engines to building new models. New speculation is that Aston Martin is looking to Mercedes for hybrid technology in order to strengthen itself for strict emissions laws.

IMHO I dont think that MBenz does this deal if Ford is still owning Aston Martin. This makes alot of since for Aston Martin and some for MBenz as well because it keeps their engines in high end cars and not Lincolns.

Ford owned them for close to 20 years or so..now, it's owned by the Kuwaities.

Even under Ford Aston Martin was doing pretty good! It is only Jaguar and maybe some of Volvo that suffered.
