Alfa Romeo Mi.To may come to the U.S.

Alfa hopes that its latest creation, the Mi.To, will help it recover the struggling Italian brand. Mi.To’s projected sales are expected to reach between 70,000 and 75,000 a year and if it does, the target “will be the first spark in Alfa’s recovery,” according to Alfa’s CEO, Luca De Meo.

The Mi.To is set to go on sale in July in some parts of Europe with a starting price of €16,000 ($25,243). Alfa says that the Mi.To as a rival to the BMW MINI brand with its aggressive design inspired by the 8C Competizione supercar.

So will the Mi.To come to the U.S. when the Italian brand makes its return to the stateside? While...

Que bella! This mini-Alfa should give the MiniCooper, VW GTI, Volvo C30, Audi A3 and Mazda Speed3 a run for their money! That is, however, Alfa has fixed the reliability problems that seem to plague every Italian marque.

no it wont alfa have serious problems with reliability CSI is very bad and there precentage share of the EU market is getting smaller they have to rectify this first!!! before they come to the US

Alpha has a bad rap for reliability and rightfully so. It also is ugly and always been underpowere. I have no interest in buying one and I don't think I am alone in those feelings. Having said that, the car seems to have a cult following, why I don't know.
