Lamborghini Batmobile may be coming to the Big Apple

American automakers are pushing to get their cars featured in the latest blockbuster movies and TV shows. GM has the Transformers series covered while Ford is running with Knight Rider. Now the Italians are jumping on the bandwagon as Lamborghini gives Bruce Wayne his everyday Batmobile.

Ready to make its debut in the upcoming Dark Knight movie, Lamborghini will supposedly display its lifesize Batmobile at the 2008 New York Auto Show this week. Here is a little sneak peak of what you can expect from MTVNews.com.

Actually they wanted to emulate the Batmobile from the Dark Night comic series which had Batman driving a bad ass tank and not a day glow prissy Bat car... Can't wait for next Bat flick...Glad Bale stayed on.

"Murcielago" means "Bat" in spanish, i think it is only appropriate that Bruce Wayne drive this car.
