BMW 5-series Touring rendering

Earlier today we saw a rendering of the upcoming A6 Avant and now we have a preview of one of the Audi’s closest rivals with this latest rendering of the 2010 BMW 5-series Touring. A class leader since its inception, the 5-series sedan and wagon remain crucial vehicles in BMW’s lineup and with the next-gen versions just over a year away speculation about the final design has been heating up.

The new 5-series is set to arrive in late 2009 for the 2010 model year and heavily disguised prototypes have already been seen testing around the streets of Munich.

Looks good! I see they kind of massaged its Bangle butt design off of it. IMO, the 5 Series is the best looking BMW today, Bangle butt and all...

I like this interpretation as well. I don't want to see a complete change in the design, just an evolution of sorts and evidently that's what BMW is doing. It will be very interesting to see how well their new twin turbo 8 cylinder performs.
