New York Auto Show: Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 comes to the stateside

After showing its latest creation at Geneva, Lamborghini revealed the LP560-4 to the North American market today at the 2008 New York Auto Show.

The LP560-4 is powered by a 5.2 liter V10 engine that produces 552 horsepower, an increase of 40 horses over the previous Galladro. The new Lambo sprints from 0-62 in just 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 201mph. Even with the considerable power increase, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have been reduced by 18 per cent. The Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 with E-gear gets an average fuel-economy of 17mpg, with a manual transmission fuel-economy falls to 16mpg.
