Was it made in India by any chance? Some people forget that this is the 21st century.

I think Chevy should re-badge a small asian car (or the new Ford Fiesta?) instead of offering another cheap sub-compact in the form of the Aveo5. Totalled my VW GTI in an accident, and the only car available to rent was the Aveo5. After a DAY, I turned it back in for a Suzuki!!! That's how bad it was!!! (I live near Buffalo... there were 27+ accidents around my small town alone, and so there were NO bigger cars to rent...)

The Aveo5 IS a rebadged Asian car (Daewoo)

Better looking than the last version. Now it's a cross between a Kia Rondo and a Suzuki SX4.

Was this review written by somebody looking for a PR job with Chevrolet?

I love Chevy these days, but the Aveo5 was and is a piece of shit. Just look at that interior that they are gushing over; it looks like the worst plastic crap cabin you could possibly come up with. The interior is just plain ugly and it is still very cheap.

Oh, and the exterior? It is ugly! No, it does not look like an upscale sport sedan! Wtf?

The Aveo is the cheapest car sold in the US, what'd you expect?

I didn't expect a car review to be gushing about how incredible it was!

I just test drove it today, and I am going to buy it. This is so much quieter and more comfortable than the Yaris and Fit, which I also test`drove. The interior does not look cheap. See this car in person before commenting on photos of it. Fully loaded with the power package is going to run me $14,250. And it comes with a 100k mile warranty
