Hyundai hybrid coming next year
Hyundai has announced that it will begin to mass produce hybrid cars next year in a move certain to please an environmentally conscious market and which is likely to cement its position as a top five automaker. The new Hyundai hybrid vehicle will be called the ‘Avante’ and it will arrive by the middle of next year. In 2010, Hyundai will follow it up with a second midsize hybrid model and eventually a fuel-cell model in 2012.

While hybrids have been around for years, Hyundai is predicting large increases in demand for the green vehicles as consumers turn to fuel-efficient cars.

I'm a Hyundai fan and even I think this design smacks of MB R-class.

It does look alot like the R class however judged by the picture it doesn't look as big which may help with its sales even if its not a hybrid at all. I look into getting an R class earlier this year but so many people I know said it look to much like minivan. This actually looks alittle better overall. The R class to me looked pretty good and it handled well for its size so maybe if this is smaller than it may handle better.
