Wrecked Nissan GT-R

Was in Malaysia for a holiday to watch Round 2 of the Petronas Malaysian F1 Grand Prix in Sepang when I saw this newly-registered Nissan GT-R wrecked in Kuala Lumpur.

Apparently the car hasn't even been speed delimited yet and is only a few days old. Guess that someone finally brought the GT-R to its limits....OUCH!!!

It's not so much the guy was an Asian or an A-hole driver but having enough money to buy a high performance car doesn't mean you can drive it well.

It seems the car is quite a bit more than some drivers can handle..

LOL - I thought only John Rocker, that overwound relief pitcher for the Mets, believed that stuff about Asian women!

Oops - Rocker played for the Atlanta Braves. My bad. It was the New York Mets who had it in for him.

Do you REALLY think that would have helped in this case?? C'mon lets be real here...look at the amount of damage done to this car it had to be going upwards of over 70 mph.....It wouldnt have helped AT ALL!

rockerrocker - 3/27/2008 5:19:46 PM

I would say 35 mph or less. Look at the damage it is jusst sheetmetal or plastic or carbon fiber damage. Bumper is bent in a little bit but structural it still looks okay.

I just wonder if this is the 1st GT-R to be wrecked in the world. Apparently in Malaysia this car costs $200,000 due to the high amount of taxes. Also, this car is considered a total write-off. Then again, this car is like the cheapest of many exotics I spotted in Sepang track/Kuala Lumpur over the weekend (Gemballa Porsche Mirage Carrera GT, Enzos, SLR, DAMNNNN!!!)

I think that you meant to say something even more stupid like the Datsun sustained $5.00 in damages.

I am pretty sure the crazy Lexus fans post their crap often enough, so you posting what they "might" say is not needed.

Did all that computer technology fail on the driver? Or did the driver focus too much on that playstation-like screen that he thought it was a game.

POOR GT-R. 1 GT-R down. Good car ruined.

Guess some accidents can't be avoided (the birth of this clumsy driver I mean, not the wreck). Poor little engineering marvel, it deserved better. Didn't even get to waste its first full set of tires... :-(

Tsk...tsk...tsk....the more money people have the more stupid they get. I for one ain't the biggest fan of the GTR but i hate to see such a performance car on the hands of an idiot who obviously has an ego bigger then his brain.

But of course some simple ducktap and cable ties and a hammer would sort this out lol. Wonder what they are going to do with the spare parts?

Reminds me of the Family Guy when they criticize Asian drivers.

-woman on highway talks to herself, doesnt signal and yells "good luck everybody" before flying across 8 lanes of traffic.
