HKS take the 2008 Mitsubushi Lancer EVO X to 376-hp

You would think that the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 295 horsepower would be enough for the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X. But HKS felt they could do a little more with the new EVO and ended up giving it an additional 81-hp.

The HKS engine pack adds an uprated turbo, upgraded intake manifold and a modified ECU. All that gives the new Lancer EVO X a total of 376-hp and a torque of 354 lb-ft of torque.

The deal is that the EVO X is one of the best all round cars, and HKS has made it even better.

definitely a contender...the exterior design screams aggression. the interior, not so much...to plain IMO. Could of done better in that department.

it is, however, a matter of time before an aftermarket tuner get's this beast in the 500-600hp range bursting thru the twisties.

Not a bad point macker83, I have an EVO IX with 330whp (~380 to 390 crank HP) with just a intake, flash, exhaust with HFC, and intercooler but stock turbo. Im sure this HKS car is built well but on the conservative side tuning wise for reliability and longevity.

anythink ? this is the best performance awd sedan , becouse it has the most advanced awd system . not this old lsd but ayc(torque vectoring) and that`s why it handles so well .

IM saying so what cus hks does this to alot of vehicles...as in so what its inevitable. These articles should be left to super street not autospies.
