The Cincinnati Reds Team Up To Give Away A Free Tundra... Sort of
The Cincinnati Reds are hosting a promotion this year that will award one lucky fan with a brand new truck if any particular Red happens to hit the truck with a home run.

The truck is perched in center field, 500 feet away. It's a neat promotion. Except that it's physically impossible for anyone to hit the truck.

Cue the math:

I marked it at 502 feet horizontally and 65 feet above field level. On a calm, 70 degree day, a player would have to hit the ball at 134.5 mph off the bat, which is beyond the realm of possibility using MLB baseballs and MLB bats.

Obviously not. Sounds like they're not trying to sell it at all...

I'll take it and drive it to a ford dealer and give it as a down payment for a F150

and the same sales mgr who sold you that f150, will eagerly await for you to drive away and SUCKER!!! lol...

it's a competitive truck, and very popular. I live near ranch estates and there are just as many new tundras around as there are silverado's and f150's.

can't accept the fact that toyota built a vehicle that was competitive, can we?

I agree. Toyota threatens people. Not sure why.

I tried to sit in the Toyota Tundra and for some reason I didn't fit very good.

I'd get the Ford, Chevy or Dodge built for Americans.

Git'r done :-/

The Dodge Ram 1500 has fewer domestic parts than the Tundra. Doesn't that mean the Ram is more foreign?

EL34, try a booster seat. It's required for young kids and you'll fit better.

The interior of the Tundra was too damn small.

My head almost touched the ceiling.

Give me a truck made for Americans, thank you very much ;-)

If it really did get hit, would they repair the dent first?

I'd fall asleep from the boredom of baseball before I tire of waiting for someone to hit the truck.

Was that Tundra supposed to be destroyed in the picture?

the f150 is a pile of foreign crap. its a piece of junk. OVER-RATED. have any of u taken a look at the engine specs, performance, etc? the tundra whups all of them in towing and acceleration.
