InsideLine gets pulled over again, washes and returns GT-R to Nissan
We’ve been writing about InsideLine’s 2009 Nissan road-trip here and there and quite frankly we’re pretty jealous of the Edmunds guys on this one. I mean it isn’t everyday Nissan engineer walks up to you and goes “hey why don’t you guys take the GT-R on a road trip from LA and drop it over to us in Reno.

Previously caught at 91mph in Sandy City, yesterday, InsideLine got pulled over again by Officer J. Travis Keel. This time the guys were doing 90mph on Highway 50 and were given a firm warning. Seems like no one really wants to ticket Godzilla.

they got off the hook AGAIN? wow, do the "officer friendlies" respect the gt-r that much or is it something else? (rookie cop?)

They need to write a story on how to get off the hook with the police. Twice! I need their formula.

I'm sure they just told the cop that they're auto journalists and are trying out this new beast.

Compared to what, a Scion or Celica? Perhaps, if you like the modded-up ricer look. All it needs now is neon ground effects.

I was just on highway 50 the other day doing over 150. It's hard to get pulled over on the "Loneliest road in America" so long as you're just watching out and being careful. There are literally no cars for 30 or 40 minutes at a time. How hard is it to slow down when you see a car on the horizon or around blind corners or over blind hills? Never mind just being smart, safe driving it also keeps the red white and blue lights away. Scares me to wonder what kind of driving these guys are doing that is getting them caught so often.

It SCARES you? When you were going 60mph faster than them?

I wasnt going that fast around blind corners, over blind hills or passing other (cop)cars. There is a time and a place for speed. Cops know it and that's why they dont hide on long desert straight-aways which makes up MOST of highway 50. Where exactly were these guys going 90 I wonder? Actually, I dont wonder because they were caught!
